Return & Refund Policy

Hi friend,

I'm a small artist running this whole shop from a corner of my garage in Saratoga Springs, NY. That means the policies here are simple, honest, and written by me — not a lawyer team. If anything below isn't clear, just email me at kael@kaelvon.com and I'll figure it out with you.


Original Paintings

Original oil paintings are one-of-a-kind and final sale. Once a painting is gone, it's gone — I can't restock it, and I can't paint a duplicate.

That said: if a painting arrives damaged or significantly different from what's pictured on the site, I will absolutely make it right. Email me within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and your order number, and I'll either send a replacement (if I have a comparable piece available) or issue a full refund.

I don't accept returns for change-of-mind on originals. Buying original art is buying a one-of-a-kind object — please look closely at the photos and dimensions before you order.


Prints

Prints are also final sale by default, since each one is signed by hand and produced individually. If your print arrives damaged, bent, or with printing defects, email me within 7 days of delivery with a photo and I'll send a replacement at no charge — no need to mail the damaged one back.

If you ordered the wrong size or changed your mind, email me anyway. I'll do what I can.


Sweet & Savory Print Club

The Print Club is a monthly subscription you can cancel any time, no fees, no questions. Manage your subscription from your account page on kaelvon.com.

A few specifics:

  • Cancel before the 20th of any month and you won't be charged for the next box.
  • If your envelope arrives damaged, gets lost, or never shows up, email me with your order number — I'll send a replacement within 5 business days.
  • Already-shipped envelopes are not refundable, but I can pause your subscription any time you need a break.
  • Pause requests: email me before the 20th and I'll skip the next month for you.

Address changes

  • Print Club members: update your address on your account page any time before the 20th of the month. Address changes after the 20th apply to the following month's envelope.
  • Other orders: if your order hasn't shipped yet, email me and I'll update the address. Once an order has shipped, I unfortunately can't reroute it (USPS rules).

Lost or damaged shipments

I want everything I send to arrive looking the way it left my hands. If it doesn't:

  1. Take a photo of the damage (or note that the package was marked delivered but never arrived)
  2. Email me at kael@kaelvon.com with your order number
  3. I'll respond within 2 business days with next steps

I will always work with you to make it right, no questions asked.


International orders

I ship worldwide. A few notes for international friends:

  • Customs duties and import fees, if any, are the recipient's responsibility (varies by country)
  • International shipping takes 7–21 business days depending on customs
  • If a package is held up in customs longer than 30 days, email me and I'll work with you on a replacement or refund
