Purchase Options & Cancellation Policy

This page covers exactly what you're buying when you order through kaelvon.com — whether it's a one-time purchase or a recurring subscription — and exactly how to cancel any time you'd like to.


Purchase options

One-time purchases: Original paintings, prints, and gift items are one-time purchases. You pay once, you receive the item, and that's the end of the transaction. No recurring billing, no automatic re-orders, no follow-up charges.

Sweet & Savory Print Club (recurring subscription): The Print Club is a recurring monthly subscription. By signing up:

  • You'll be charged on the 20th of each month
  • The amount charged is $9/month (US) or $12/month (international)
  • Each charge ships one envelope with that month's contents on the 25th
  • The subscription continues automatically every month until you cancel
  • No minimum commitment, no contract length, no cancellation fees

You'll receive an email confirmation each time you're billed. Charges appear on your statement as "KAEL VON" or "KAELVON.COM."

Gift subscriptions: Gift subscriptions (3-month, 6-month, or annual) do not auto-renew. They end after the prepaid period unless the recipient chooses to continue with their own subscription.


Payment methods

Payments are processed securely through Shopify. I accept:

  • All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Shop Pay
  • PayPal

I never see or store your full card number. All payment details are handled directly by my payment processor.


How to cancel your subscription

You can cancel any time, in any of these ways. Cancellation is as easy as signup — that's a promise.

Option 1 — From your account page (fastest):

  1. Log in at kaelvon.com/account
  2. Click Manage subscription
  3. Click Cancel subscription
  4. Confirm

Option 2 — Email me:

Email kael@kaelvon.com with your order number and a request to cancel. I'll handle it within 1–2 business days.

There are no fees and no questions asked. You don't have to give a reason. I won't try to talk you into staying.


Cancellation timing

  • Cancel before the 20th of the month → you won't be charged for the next month, and your last envelope will be the one that's already in progress
  • Cancel after the 20th → the next envelope is already in production and will ship to you, but you won't be billed again after that

Pausing instead of canceling

If you need a break but want to come back:

  • Email kael@kaelvon.com before the 20th of any month
  • Tell me how many months you'd like to skip (1, 2, or 3)
  • I'll pause your subscription and resume it whenever you're ready

Pausing keeps your account active and locks in your current pricing.


Refunds

  • Already-shipped envelopes are not refundable — once an envelope leaves the studio, it's yours
  • Future charges made in error (e.g., a cancellation that didn't process correctly) will be refunded immediately — email me with your order number
  • Charges you didn't intend to make: email me within 7 days of the charge and I'll work with you on a resolution

For damaged or lost envelopes, see the Damages & Issues page — those get replaced free of charge.


After you cancel

Once you cancel:

  • Your subscription stops at the next billing cycle (per the timing rules above)
  • Your account stays open — you can log in any time to view past orders
  • I'll never contact you trying to win you back unless you opt in
  • You're welcome to resubscribe any time, no penalty

Changes you can make any time

  • Change your shipping address: log in to your account, or email me — please do this before the 20th of the month
  • Change your billing card: log in to your account → Payment methods
  • Pause for a month: email me before the 20th
  • Switch from US to international (or vice versa): email me — there's a small price difference, but I can handle the change manually

Billing notifications

You'll receive an email confirmation every time your subscription renews and is billed. If you want an additional advance reminder before each charge, reply to any newsletter and I'll add a note to your profile.
